Whether you are just passing by Phnom Penh, or permanently living in Phnom Penh but have no idea where you could possibly work in peace, then The Factory Phnom Penh might be the place for you.
We have found similar challenges in finding a place to work flexibly – especially when you have client calls. The Factory is just one of the many co-working spaces in Phnom Penh where you can work peacefully. You can bring in your team – if you have one, too!
The Factory Phnom Penh Co-working Space
The Factory is an IT hub and creative space that is geared towards cultivating Cambodia’s next generation of creators, makers, entrepreneurs, and IT professionals. One of its features is its Workspace 1, where anyone can come to work at flexible prices.
Workspace 1 also offers kickass coffee and some food, so you… well, you basically never want to leave. They offer different co-working memberships with 1-day Pass, and even monthly subscriptions. They have meeting rooms that members can use, and if you are in need of an office, they also have Graduation Offices that are available for 3, 6 and 12-month leases.
More information can be accessed on their WEBSITE.
The Location
The Factory is a bit far off from the center of Phnom Penh, but it does make up for the facilities they offer. Since the co-working space offers a lot of amenities, there is not much need to go out and find other materials.
It is easy to reach The Factory if you want to commute by City Bus. Grab is also okay, albeit a bit pricey if you are located from another side of Phnom Penh.
The Amenities
- The workspace is peaceful, letting your mind rest and focus with ease.
- There does not seem to be any air conditioning (based on our visit) but it does have a lot of air and some fans.
- The working area is excellent, there are also some lockers that you can use.
- The seating is comfortable – something for each person’s preference.
- Very quiet… really.
Overall, The Factory Phnom Penh is a great creative hub where you can let your creativity flow. One of the best things about it is that if you are a freelancer, and maybe Internet is down at your area – or power outage happened, again – then The Factory is an option you might want to consider. It is a bit far off, though.
It is not baby-friendly, but they do have a kid’s area where kids can play – bigger kids, that is. Younger ones, like toddlers can run about, but might be a bit disruptive to other humans.
